- No. Both formats are lossy, so every re-save shaves off a little more detail. Convert once from the original wherever you can.
- What happens to transparency?
- It is lost. AVIF supports transparency and PDF does not, so transparent areas are filled with white. If the background colour matters, flatten the image onto a solid background before converting.
- Can I combine several images into one PDF?
